Hey! I’m the head photographer and founder of Hazel Lining!
Let's be real. Writing about yourself is uber weird and a little awkward. So I'm just gonna go ahead and throw out all the conventional "bio" stuff and jump right in! My name is Steph; born & raised in the suburbs of Philly; currently living in Lancaster, PA. During the very limited time that I'm not being a photog, you can find me picking out my next plant baby, redecorating our home, or planning my next travel adventure. I love the sky. Clouds, sunshine, sunrises, sunsets, moon & stars; all of it. I met the love of my life while photographing his best friend's wedding back in October 2014, he proposed in November 2017, & we got married in September 2018! {Ask me, I'd love to tell you all about it}

why photography?
I discovered my love of photography over 12 {twelve!?!?!?} years ago. All through school I had a strong passion for art & design and knew I wanted to use it somehow in my future career. When I picked up my first camera, all the things that go into "a good photograph" just came naturally without even realizing it. It was while I was second-shooting for a friend in high-school that I decided photography was what I wanted to pursue as my career. Majoring in photography in college was more challenging than I had ever anticipated but was more than worth it when I look back.
My focus is couples mainly because well, I love L❤VE! I am and always will be a big sap...I cry at almost every wedding I photograph. You'd think after a few I'd get over it. Nope! Everyone's story is different and touches my heart in a different way & I enjoy so much being able to capture the most special moments & milestones in people's lives. And after that, I just love being their friend and cheerleader and watching their love unfold!
what about teamwork?
I have always done my best learning through hands-on experience, so the weddings that I photographed as a second-shooter were always my most strengthening times as a photographer. This is why I decided that I wanted the second-shooters for my company to also be people who were striving to learn the art of photography. It's been awesome to see my second shooters grow in their craft from the first sessions they photographed with me until now. I couldn't be happier to be doing what I love alongside all the people that have been such a blessing to me & my business.

Becoming an associate for HLP is a literal dream after admiring her work for years!
My puppy Aylah is my whole life, along with coffee, my guy, and Jesus of course! Some of my smaller passions, aside from photography, include small home renovations and decorating, eating anything and everything that has cheese in it, and spending time with my favorite people! And whenever possible, I’ll be hanging out under an umbrella at the beach ... although living in PA means 9/10 times thats my mental state rather than physical.
I am a ball of adventure in the warmer months, but winter keeps me cuddled under a blanket with my pup. I love plants but can’t keep them alive, and WILL ask to see pictures of your pets.

I’m an associate for HLP, which has been incredible as I get to work with a lively team of artistic people who are ready to tackle anything on the big day!
I’m married to my high school sweetheart, which has convinced me that marriage is one of the best things ever. So big congrats on making it here! Since I was young, photography and cinema have been my favorite art forms. I’m grateful to play my part in capturing all that God has made. In the summer time, I love a good beach vacation or two… or three… or four. In fact, if you leave me on the shore with my jeep, fishing rod, and camera, you probably wouldn’t see me for months, haha!
Pennsylvania is my home. But I’m still down for any destination, just say the word! Wherever it may be, I can’t wait to get to know you and hear your story. See you soon!

Photography is something I've wanted to do since I was 13 years old. I started out doing photoshoots with my friends in our backyards. In high school, I went to a Performing and Fine Arts school predominantly for photography and graphic design. It's something that's always stuck with me.
I have a considerable coffee obsession, and I also am a Manager at Starbucks. I genuinely love being around people and celebrating every walk of life, so naturally, my careers fit that. Food is my love language, and coffee is my spirit animal, as corny as that sounds. The office will always be my favorite tv series, and you will always find a ton of plants and herbs surrounding my place.
Hey, Y'all! My name is Jordan, and I am the loving husbae of Steph (you know the boss babe of Hazel Lining Photography?)
I grew up in Q-town (that is Quakertown, PA for you non-locals.) I am pursuing Christ and my wife daily. My passion is working with high school and higher-ed students. When I am not at work I am either at the gym, belting songs in my car, sipping on some nitro brew, or having my own personal dance party. Life is meant to be enjoyed without fear! Put this all on a beach or a coastal bungalow with all my favorite people and I am a happy camper. Did I mention that I LOVE food.
I love people (I'm a 2w3 y'all!) and Steph started taking me on these shoots as husband and wife duo! I love watching her work and have taken up the opportunity to train and sharpen my skills in photography as an HLP Associate. I love being on this team!
