Do you travel? What about Destination weddings?

We are ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS up for traveling! 

Travel expenses? / Where are you located?

Each wedding that is over one hour of driving time will include travel expenses. Every wedding is different, but we are happy to work with you and figure out the best way to make this happen!

Our home base is Lancaster, PA.

Anything outside a 2+ hour radius will most likely require lodging fees as well.

Do we get the full rights to our photos?

Every session includes the rights to print your photos wherever and however you'd like. However, this does not provide you with the rights to alter the image editing. We do suggest that you order straight from your gallery in order to get the very best quality of prints!

Can we have the RAW files?

We do not provide clients with RAW files. We work extremely hard to give each client our unique style of photography. Unedited files would not represent our brand if someone else would end up editing them.

Can I see a full wedding sample?

Absolutely! If this is something you're interested in, make sure to let us know a few details about your wedding day so we can send you one that is comparable to your dream day! 

What kind of equipment do you have?

We shoot with Canon 5D Mark IIIs, and use only prime lenses. Steph's go-to lenses are the 50mm 1.2 & 35mm 1.4 alongside her beloved 100mm macro lens. We prefer natural light, but will also always be prepared with additional lighting if necessary.

How long WILL IT take for you to edit my photos?

In our contract it states that you will have your wedding photos back within eight weeks of your wedding. Sometimes we can get them back a little early depending on the time of year and how many weddings we are shooting. We want to edit and sort each wedding to the best of our abilities and take pride in the quality of photos we deliver. We won’t compromise the quality of the photos we provide to deliver them sooner.

How do I decide what to wear for my session!?

Wardrobe is totally personal preference. We suggest that you were something you feel confident in, and also layer up so you can switch out quickly to make more options during your portrait session! If you need color suggestions, you can check out our STYLE GUIDE.

Will you photoshop my images?

Every image is specially edited, and we will remove blemishes or anything that is not natural to your face or body. We do not remove tattoos, or liquify bodies to make you look different. We believe that each person is created beautifully and we will not take it upon ourselves to change that!

can we read your contract before we book?

Yes! Just let us know that you're interested in reading over our contract when you inquire! If there are any specific areas you are wondering about, feel free to ask!

do you blog every session or wedding?

Unfortunately, will the high volume of sessions throughout the year we are unable to feature every wedding. This is not to say that your wedding was not an amazing day. It could very well be one that we blog down the road.

do you blog every photo from your sessions?

Unfortunately, due to the large volume of photos that most sessions include, we only select our top photos from the wedding or session to post and tell the best story!

How will I receive my photos?

For engagement & portrait sessions you will receive your images on a secure online gallery for downloading and ordering. Weddings will also be delivered through a gallery, and you can purchase a thumb-drive of your wedding day à la carte!

Do you make wedding albums?

Our online gallery platform allows for clients to create and order an custom album straight through their gallery to make it as seamless as possible.

Have you ever shot at MY venue?

We have had the pleasure to shoot at many local venues, but our creativity is sparked when we arrive at a location that we have not yet shot at. We love being able to individualize your photographs based on your wedding style and you venue is a huge part of that! We don't feel that it is a downfall when we haven't shot a specific location or venue before!

does steph photograph every wedding?

Mostly yes! If there is an associate assigned to your wedding, you will be made aware before you book. This is a rare occurrence these days and I (Steph) am most more picky about my work ever since having my daughter!

Each associate who first shoots is specially trained in HLP shooting style and is fully prepared for your wedding day.
